About the role
As Junior Designer Menswear, you will support the development of our Shirt assortment. You will work across the full design process, from sketch to SMS delivery, while taking ownership of the seasonal color workflow across teams. This role blends creativity with structure, making it ideal for someone eager to grow both their design skills and project coordination capabilities.
The Junior Designer reports into the Head of Design Menswear and works closely together with a Category Designer and Product Developer.
- Support the Category Designer to create the woven shirt range in line with Gant’s creative vision
- Assist in selecting and approving materials, trims, prints, fabrics, and colors to support the seasonal concept
- Organize the seasonal color process, including color cards, swatches, and internal code updates
- Coordinate color workshops and, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, maintain structured and efficient workflows for all color-related processes, ensuring clear and consistent color direction across the team.
- Conduct trend and market research to inform design and color decisions
- Maintain updated artworks, sourcing documents, and PLM articles, keeping color information structured
- Work proactively along the Critical Path, aligning timelines and color workflows across collections
Profile
- Approximately 2 years of experience in a similar design role
- High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel
- A structured and proactive way of working across multiple processes
- A strong aesthetic sense and an understanding of commercial design
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills in English
