About the role

  • Provides a full People Business Partnership with all leaders in the market, specifically focusing on building strong relationships with the Retail team (Head of Retail, Store Managers, others)
  • Cover the full Employee Journey, e.g.  recruitment, onboarding, payroll, comp & benefits liaison, performance management, employee engagement, career development and offboarding processes in the market.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance and continual evolution & updating of People Processes. 
  • Actively supporting and contributing in global People projects. 
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of People & training theory and methods
  • Give advice on legal issues, taking guidance as necessary.  Deal with disciplinary and grievance appeals for organizations. Ensure managers trained in dealing with investigation and disciplinary meetings
  • Keep People policies and procedures updated in line with employment legislation.
  • Coach and train leaders on People issues e.g. employment law, absence, recruitment etc.. 
  • Ensure maintenance of personnel files for all employees
  • Ensure annual performance development and salary reviews are processed
  • Assist in managing HR related aspects of organizational change
  • Responsible for coordinating and ensuring the execution of all tasks related to payroll, employee documentation, reports, health and safety and comp & ben
  • Support in setting and following up the people budget and forecast for the market.

Profile

  • Broad general HR knowledge preferably from different HR specialist roles, Employer Branding, Recruitment etc.
  • Past experience from working with people admin and payroll
  • Past experience from participating in projects 
  • Strong planning, communicational and organizational skills
  • You are result driven and have good business understanding
  • Identify with and live the GANT values though our key behaviors
  • University degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Portuguese
  • 100% remote position, with approximately 2–3 trips per year to Madrid, where a large part of the team is based.
