GANT offers a wide range of exciting internships for students. We want to provide students with a great opportunity to begin their careers while they are still pursuing their studies. Our internship program is a golden opportunity to gain experience and increase marketability. We encourage our interns to try new things and gain a better understanding which in turn opens new doors.
At GANT, we firmly believe in the importance of Never Stop Learning. Our interns have a strong interest in retail and fashion together with a consumer-oriented mindset. Our values bring us together and make us stronger, faster, and smarter. Curiosity, Creativity, Courage and Community create the foundation for how we connect with our peers. We are passionate and curious about everything we do.
We offer internships with a main focus on our Global HQ in Stockholm, Sweden but also in several of our subsidiary countries. Our programs vary in length and run during spring or fall, full-time for 2-5 months. The internship should be part of an educational program and ideally the student is at the end of his/her studies.
All interns receive an assigned mentor who will be their go-to person during the entire internship. Together, the intern and mentor write a content plan to align goals and expectations of the internship period. We encourage all interns to participate in fun and engaging office activities as well.

What made you apply to an internship at GANT?
My journey at GANT began when I applied for the job as a Sales Consultant, in parallel with my master’s degree. I have always been passionate about retail and I wanted to gain a deeper experience of working for a company where customer service and quality are the center of a brand with a deep rooted history.
Working as a Sale Consultant at GANT created a strong desire to gain a deeper understanding of how GANT works, and especially when it comes to e-commerce, since it is a fast growing sales channel in today’s retail industry.
How would you describe your first months as an intern at the global GANT HQ in Stockholm?
From the very first day, I got involved with the daily tasks of the E-commerce team. During my first months, I learnt more than I ever expected and met people from all over the world with different backgrounds. The first months was challenging in a good way, and I felt that I contributed to the daily operations of my team.
Describe a normal day?
My schedule varied widely every day. When I came into the office in the morning, I made sure I knew my schedule and priorities for the day and the rest of the week. Throughout the day I supported and assisted the E-commerce team with daily tasks and long-term and short-term projects. It was important for me to always coordinate with my team and mentors, to prioritize tasks, projects and to check progress.
Do you have any recommendations to interested candidates who want to do an internship?
Be curious and willing to learn as much as possible during your stay. It is important to always ask questions if you don’t understand. The best way to learn from your performance is to ask for feedback from those with whom you worked. Also take the time to get to know as many people in the office as possible. People at GANT want to know who you are and are more than willing to answer your questions, guide you and listen to the ideas you have.
