At GANT Footwear, we combine the heritage of an iconic brand with the agility of a start-up. As we continue to scale our newly established subsidiary to GANT AB, we’re looking for a Logistics Director to build and lead our logistics operations with structure, precision, and momentum.
As Logistics Director for GANT Footwear, you will be responsible for building, optimizing and managing our end-to-end logistics operations as we scale a newly established business unit. In this role, you need to combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on attitude, with key responsibilities in implementing new logistics structures, setting up our future warehouse and transport solution, and leading critical transformation initiatives in collaboration with global functions.
You will also be the main owner of our future Supply Chain platform as well as a key driver in designing and implementing our ERP logistics flows.
You will work cross-functionally with Product & Operations, Finance, and Commercial at GANT Footwear as well as with Global Logistics at GANT AB, ensuring that our logistics processes support speed, quality, cost efficiency, and scalability.
Over time, the role will continue to evolve as a senior leadership role, including direct reports of 1-3 people. From day one, however, you will hold ownership and decision-making rights over all logistics matters within GANT Footwear.
Responsibilities
- Act as the functional owner of GANT Footwear’s future warehouse solution: defining requirements, shaping logistics flows (inbound, outbound, returns), and working closely with the Logistics Project Manager and Global Operations to ensure a successful implementation.
- Build logistics processes and structure from scratch – including SOPs, KPIs, and documentation to support scalable operations.
- Take full operational responsibility for logistics process testing and requirements gathering in the ERP project — you will be hands-on in designing, testing and validating all logistics flows.
- Set up and own day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation and warehouse performance, with continuous improvement based on KPIs.
- Define and manage logistics readiness for seasonal product drops and campaign launches, in close alignment with GTM timelines.
- Manage vendor relationships with key logistics partners, including leading strategic and ongoing commercial negotiations to ensure performance, cost efficiency and contractual compliance.
- Work closely with Product & Operations, Commercial, Customer Operations, and Finance to align logistics with business needs and priorities.
- Support logistics-related budgeting, forecasting, invoice handling, and cost control. Lead reporting and analysis of logistics-related cash flow.
- Own logistics reporting, including dashboards and performance reviews. Proactively identify risks and opportunities across service and cost.
- Serve as the strategic lead for all logistics matters within the Footwear team, with full accountability. Over time, recruit and lead a small logistics team (1–3 FTEs).
Profil
- 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally within footwear, consumer goods, fashion, or lifestyle
- Proven track record in warehouse setup, ERP-related logistics flows, and supply chain solution implementations
- Strategic, yet operational experienced and structured – thrives in fast-moving, hands-on environments
- Proven hands-on experience in testing and validating logistics systems and processes
- Strong understanding of logistics KPIs, forecasting, and cash flow impact
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
- Previous leadership experience is a plus
