Are you a senior designer with deep expertise in outwear heavy woven, tailoring and bottoms — and ready for a high-impact interim assignment? 

Gant is now looking for a highly experienced designer to take on a key role in shaping a core category, working at the intersection of strong design, craftsmanship and commercial relevance. This is a fixed-term assignment of approximately 14 months, with a desired start around April 27. 

This is a highly specialized interim role and it is essential to note that: 

• We will only consider senior designers with proven experience in outwear heavy woven, tailoring and bottoms. 

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is mandatory. 

 You will design and execute the category range in line with the creative and commercial direction and the Gant DNA, securing product excellence throughout the entire design process. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design and execute the category range according to creative and business direction and the Gant DNA 

• Secure product excellence throughout the full design process 

• Own silhouette, materials, trims and key garment details 

• Prepare and update tech packs, sourcing documents and design overviews 

• Upload and maintain articles in PLM 

• Research trends and commercial newness within the category 

• Work according to the Critical Path and meet all deadlines 

This role requires a senior specialist profile. Junior or generalist designers will not be considered.  

Experience & Skills 

• Minimum 5 years of senior-level experience within fashion design 

• Mandatory experience in outwear heavy woven, tailoring and bottoms 

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) 

• Strong knowledge of silhouette, materials and garment construction 

• High creativity combined with strong commercial awareness 

• Highly organized, structured and able to handle multiple tasks 

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are required
