Aufgabe

At GANT Footwear, we combine the heritage of an iconic brand with the agility of a start-up. We’re now looking for a Wholesale Manager to take ownership of building and expanding our global wholesale business.

In this senior, sales-driven role, you will be responsible for establishing our wholesale structures, strengthening partnerships with agents and key accounts, and driving sustainable growth and profitability. With strong relationship-building skills, sharp business acumen, and proven negotiation expertise, you will play a central role in shaping the future of GANT Footwear in the wholesale channel.

Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will lead commercial negotiations, develop new markets, and ensure that partners are set up for success. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with teams across product, operations, finance, and logistics to secure smooth execution and commercial excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the wholesale sales strategy in alignment with the Commercial Director, based on customer classification and brand strategy 

  • Identify, manage, and grow relationships with wholesale partners globally. 

  • Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring competitive and profitable agreements. 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, channels, and markets. 

  • Prepare and conduct business reviews, sales presentations, and seasonal sell-in meetings. 

  • Monitor sales performance, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs, ensuring targets are achieved. 

  • Represent GANT Footwear at market visits, sales meetings, and international trade events. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Product & Operations, Finance, Logistics) to secure commercial success and smooth execution. 

  • Ensure wholesale partners are set up for success with the right tools, processes, and support together with our Commercial Operations Manager.  

  • Provide market insights and feedback to guide product development and commercial strategies. 

Profil

  • 7+ years of experience in wholesale or B2B sales, preferably within footwear, fashion, or lifestyle brands.

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing complex wholesale partnerships.

  • Strong negotiation, relationship-management, and communication skills with the ability to influence at senior level.

  • Solid business acumen and strategic mindset, balancing growth and profitability.

  • Self-driven, structured, and results-oriented, with strong follow-up and presentation skills.

  • Comfortable working with sales data, forecasts, ERP/CRM systems, and performance metrics.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages and willingness to travel frequently (mainly in Europe) are an advantage.
