Aufgabe
We are now looking for a Merchandiser to join our GANT North Regional Team, where you will play a key role in driving commercial performance across our retail, online and wholesale channels.
As part of the North Merchandising team, you will track performance, identify opportunities and take in-season actions to maximize sales, profitability and stock health. You will work closely with the Merchandise Manager, Allocation, Retail Operations and Marketing teams to ensure our assortments perform to their full potential and deliver premium results in line with GANT’s brand and business goals.
If you have experience as a Branch Merchandiser, Senior Allocator, or Merchandiser, this is a great opportunity to grow your analytical and commercial trading skills in a regional setting.
This role will be based in either Stockholm or London.
Key Responsibilities
In-season trading
- Monitor weekly and monthly sales, margin and stock performance across stores, online and wholesale.
- Identify risks and opportunities and propose actions to optimize sell-through and profitability.
- Own the regional markdown process – from planning to execution and performance analysis.
- Analyze store and SKU-level performance to support allocation and replenishment decisions.
- Collaborate with Retail Operations, Allocation and Marketing to ensure balanced stock levels and impactful commercial activations.
- Support seasonal campaigns and retail incentives to drive performance across all channels.
Pre-season planning
- Support assortment planning and product intake in close collaboration with the Merchandise Manager and HQ teams.
- Provide insights on regional trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to shape seasonal strategies.
- Contribute to open-to-buy management and category analysis.
Wholesale collaboration
- Partner with Key Account Managers to tailor assortments and product offerings for key accounts.
- Support campaign execution and wholesale incentives to strengthen partnerships and performance.
- Gather and share feedback from partners to inform future planning and pricing decisions.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with Retail, Allocation, Marketing and HQ teams to align on trading actions and priorities.
- Support Retail Operations with store grading, option counts and availability checks.
- Share commercial recaps and insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
Profil
Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in merchandising, planning, or buying within a multi-channel retail environment.
- Experience as a Branch Merchandiser, Senior Allocator, or Merchandiser is highly relevant.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong commercial mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence in handling data and reporting.
- Collaborative and communicative team player who thrives cross-functionally.
- Passionate about product, performance and creating a premium customer experience.
