Aufgabe
As
a key member of our Logistics team, you will take ownership of planning and
leading operations at our Regional Distribution Center. You’ll guide a
dedicated team of Logistics Specialists and Coordinators, reporting directly to
the Global Logistics Director and part of the local management team. Together, we strive to create seamless,
efficient logistics flows that drive success across the region.
- Plan and lead the operations in the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) and the related logistics flows in the region
- Secure efficient warehouse operations and transportation flows, ensuring regional market needs are fulfilled
- Lead or participate in transportation tenders and improvements including negotiations and contractual set up
- Drive improvements and strategic development towards 3PL and lead commercial discussions towards 3PL
- Ensure operational performance meets KPIs, SLAs, and supports sales objectives
- Manage the overall logistics budget, including monthly and annual financial activities, invoice processing, stock reconciliation, and forecasting
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate availability to stakeholders
- Provide regular reporting and updates to local market management on logistics performance and initiatives
Profil
- Minimum of 7 year´s experience in supply chain operations, with at least 3 years of people management
- Exceptional planning, organizational, and great communication skills
- Strategic vision and a results-driven operational focus
- Proactive approach to identifying challenges and driving effective solutions
- Strong experience with an ERP system and expert in Excel
- Completed “Ausbildung” or studies in the field of logistics
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language skills such as German are highly desirable
- Willingness to travel within Europe
