Aufgabe
As part of the Design Team, as Junior Designer, you will be involved in assisting in designing & developing the woven categories, together with the Category Designer and in close collaboration with the Product Developer.
Assist the Designer in designing and executing the woven assortment, according to creative and business direction and within the Gant DNA constantly in mind.
Support in selection of material and trims related to the seasonal direction
Assist with trim, print, fabric and colour approvals
Research trends and commercial newness within product category
Understanding the relevance of how the assortment connects to the collection layers and fullfill the consumer segmentations
Support in securing product excellence throughout the full design process from sketch to sms delivery
Work according to the Critical Path and be organised to meet deadlines
Preparing and updating artworks, overviews, preparing sourcing documents and updating articles in the PLM system
Support the Design Manager with administrative preparations of the Seasonal Directions
Profil
- Degree in Fashion Design, with preferably 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and PowerPoint, Excel; PLM systems are a plus
- Familiarity with Clo3D is considered a benefit
- Strong creativity with trend awareness and a commercial mindset
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a big-picture perspective
- Agile, open to feedback, and motivated by continuous learning and development
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
This is a temporary position with a duration of approximately between 26/04/01 and 26/12/31.
