Join GANT as our Head of Logistics Nordics and play a key role in shaping the efficiency and performance of our regional supply chain. This is a unique opportunity to lead a talented team, optimize operations across multiple markets, and directly impact our ability to deliver the right products to our customers—on time, every time. 

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Logistics Nordics to lead and optimize our regional logistics operations. You will ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time, manage costs, and drive continuous improvement while inspiring your team. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and 3PL partners, with regular travel to our regional distribution centre. Please note that this is a temporary role covering 16–18 months.

Responsibilities 

  • Plan and manage logistics operations to meet sales goals, including monthly shipping estimates. 

  • Provide rolling 12-month stock projections and align with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Manage warehousing and transport costs within budget and implement corrective actions. 

  • Lead transportation tenders, negotiations, and contract setups with 3PL partners. 

  • Ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts and reconciliations. 

  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and contractual compliance while meeting sales requirements. 

  • Drive system updates, process improvements, and sustainability reporting. 

  • Lead and develop your team, including performance reviews and objective setting. 

Profile

  • Proven experience in logistics management, ideally within retail or FMCG. 

  • Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation, and 3PL operations. 

  • Budget management experience and a track record of operational efficiency. 

  • Skilled in negotiation, contracts, and stakeholder management. 

  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop teams. 

  • Analytical mindset and continuous improvement orientation. 

  • Comfortable with regular travel and a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
