About the role

As the Flagship Store Leader you are accountable to lead, train and inspire a team to deliver a results and an excellent customer experience with energy and enthusiasm.

Drive store performance through clear focus and KPI’s, exceeding store expectations. Your great training/coaching skills in line with the training tools provided by Gant will ensure your team deliver consistent service levels and expert product knowledge through Gant Academy to share with our customers.

Implement the VM brand standards in line with the ’Executing excellence pack’. Through your personality and passion for Gant you will be able to demonstrate our Leadership and employeeship behaviours and create a never stop learning culture within your team and in store. Accountable for the day to day running of the Regent Street store and the Store Manager. 

As part of the GANT Management team you will be accountable for the following;

  • Inspire and manage a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Continually elevate the Gant brand on Regent St, be a global leader of excellence.
  • Innovate new opportunities and drive business performance
  • Achieve company set KPI’s and targets in sales continually elevating store performance and awareness.
  • Act as a role model at all times,  train, coach and feedback on performance.
  • Engage and drive store performance through team members focussing on KPI’s, behaviours & service expectations.
  • Create and own your development plan with your line manager support.
  • Ensure commercial delivery of our brands visual presentation and merchandising, working with VM to ensure success.
  • Manage key stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for Regent St.
  • Lead with our brand values and behaviours at the forefront of what you do.
  • Observe and conform to all Retail Policies and Procedures as directed in the Retail Policy and Procedures Manual.
  • Expense and inventory management.
  • Oversee physical store operations including maintenance to ensure the environment meets Health & Safety and company standards.
  • Identify objectives and set priorities to meet short and long term goals, delegating responsibilities to the Store team where appropriate.
  • Ensure store administration is delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Communicate with the Retail Team when key issues impact the performance of the store.
  • Promptly and efficiently carry out reasonable tasks and responsibilities assigned by line manager.
  • Actively engage in and lead regular store visits to assess operational performance to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Lead and drive the clientelling agenda.

Profile

  • You will report to the Retail Director.
  • Genuine interest in people – both as customers and as colleagues.
  • Driven by sales and performance (2-3 years working with KPIs).
  • At least 3 years in management roles in retail apparel industry with experience of; Coaching and developing teams and bringing strategy to life ; Planning and time management to drive daily operations; Sales and customer service; Recruitment and selection processes; 1-2 years in Outlet / Full price stores.
  • Role model through positivity and an ability to enjoy a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for fashion and lifestyle concepts.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to empower and delegate where required
  • Be motivational, lead the way, create energy within the team and make clear quick decisions
  • Have clear goals but be open to new ideas and ways of working.
  • Feedback - Use their knowledge to grow others skills and take pride in others career development
  • Good Microsoft Office package skills.
