About the role

Are you a detail‑oriented finance professional who enjoys working close to the numbers while contributing to smarter processes? We are now looking for an AP Accountant to join our Global Finance team in Stockholm. In this role, you will work in a dynamic, international environment with broad responsibility across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial operations, while also taking part in continuous improvement and finance projects.  

As an AP Accountant, you will be responsible for accurate, timely, and efficient financial transaction processing. The role is operational and hands‑on, with an end‑to‑end process perspective and close collaboration with subsidiaries, internal stakeholders, and external partners. You will also contribute to finance development initiatives, including system‑related projects involving SAP and integrations. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform day‑to‑day financial transaction processing (invoices, expense reports, journals, payments) 

  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and payment allocation 

  • Handle Accounts Payable activities in close cooperation with cost center owners 

  • Manage multi‑currency transactions and bank activities, including payment planning 

  • Respond to invoice‑ and payment‑related inquiries from customers, vendors, and partners 

  • Support the Trade team with daily accounting  

  • Perform reconciliations, accruals, and support monthly and year‑end closings 

  • Collaborate with subsidiaries and provide transactional finance support 

  • Contribute to process improvements and participate in finance and system projects 

Profile

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent 

  • 1-3 years of experience in a finance function, preferably within AP/AR or transactional accounting 

  • Solid basic accounting and VAT knowledge 

  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end finance transactional processes 

  • Intermediate Excel skills 

  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP is highly meriting) 

  • Interest in systems, integrations, and process improvement 

  • Fluent in English; Swedish is required (additional languages are a plus) 

  • Structured, detail‑oriented, proactive, and service‑minded team player
