About the Team
As part of the Technical Development Team, you will work closely with our Garment Technicians and gain hands-on experience in the technical product development process. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn how we at Gant develop womenswear and menswear, from initial concepts and planning through sample development and final production.
You will gain insight into every stage of the product lifecycle and collaborate with experienced colleagues across different functions, building a strong understanding of how creative ideas are transformed into high-quality garments.
Who You Are
You are a student with a genuine interest in technical product development and a strong desire to learn and grow within the fashion industry. During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our Garment Technician team with fit, measurements, pattern-related tasks, and product development activities, while gaining valuable insight into the technical development process within a global fashion brand.
We are looking for someone who:
Is studying Technical Development or a related field
Is in the final phase of their education and requires an internship as part of their program
Has basic knowledge of pattern construction
Has started working with CLO3D during their studies
Is structured, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Enjoys teamwork and clear communication
Is fluent in English, both written and spoken
Profile
During this internship, you will support our Garment Technician team and gain practical experience across several areas of technical product development. You will work with garment measurements, fit evaluations, size charts, and digital development tools while contributing to ongoing projects and learning from experienced professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the team with garment measuring and article reviews
Assisting with size chart creation and technical follow-up
Gaining experience working with CLO3D and Lectra
Contributing to development projects and other technical tasks as needed
Learning through close collaboration with the team and participating in a structured internship program
