We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Wholesale Business Controller to support the growth and profitability of our Wholesale business. As a key business partner, you will be responsible for monitoring business performance and cost control, preparing forecasts and budgets, and providing actionable insights to drive profitable growth. Beyond traditional controlling responsibilities, we are seeking a forward-thinking professional with a strong interest in digital transformation, automation, data analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. The successful candidate will play an active role in modernizing Finance processes and enhancing decision-making capabilities through technology.
Responsibilities:
● Business Performance Management
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, order intake, and order book
development.
- Evaluate revenue, gross margin, and profitability by customer, country, channel,
product category.
- Produce weekly and monthly management reports for leadership teams.
- Analyze variances between actual performance, budget, and forecasts.
- Identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Corporate SG&A Management
● Preparation of the annual budget process and quarterly forecast
- Develop all the template to be uploaded in the the system.
- Challenge commercial assumptions and business plans in collaboration with
Sales Management.
- Perform scenario analysis and financial modeling.
- Monitor key business and financial performance indicators
- Prepare corporate budget SG&A with the relevant stakeholder
● Financial Control & Closing
- Support monthly close activities in collaboration with Accounting teams.
- Ensure the reliability and consistency of financial and commercial data.
- Perform controls and reconciliations on key financial indicators.
- Contribute to internal and external audit requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of reporting and control processes
● Finance Transformation, Data & Artificial Intelligence
- Identify repetitive and low-value-added tasks that can be automated.
- Support the implementation of automation and AI solutions within the Finance organization.
- Improve reporting, forecasting, and analytical processes through technology.
- Develop innovative tools and solutions that increase efficiency and improve business insights.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Data teams to enhance data quality and accessibility.
- Actively contribute to the digital transformation of the Finance function.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and identify practical AI use cases to improve business performance and productivity.
Perfil
● Knowledge requirements
- Business Control, Finance Business Processes. Accounting,Stakeholder management. Tax, VAT, GAAP is meriting
● Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, Power Query, and process automation.
● Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, or equivalent).
● Demonstrated interest in digital transformation, automation technologies, and Artificial Intelligence applied to Finance
● Educational level - University degree or equivalent • in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or Economics
● Past experience - 3 to 7 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis
● Language skills - English C1, additional languages meriting
