Are you ready to take the lead in developing innovative and high-quality women’s light woven products? Join our dynamic team as a Product Developer, where you will play a key role in transforming creative design visions into market-ready collections. You will be part of a small, highly skilled team working closely with our designers and technical experts, as well as collaborating with specialists across women’s, men’s and home. This is a temporary role of 12 to 14 months.
As a Product Developer for women's light woven, you will play a critical role in the entire product lifecycle, from initial design concepts to commercialization. Your key responsibilities will include:
Product development: Develop light woven products that meet our high standards for quality, price, and timing. You'll be the bridge between design, sourcing, and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and adherence to timelines.
Sourcing and negotiation: Proactively source high-quality materials and negotiate prices and lead times with suppliers, ensuring products align with our range plan and business goals.
Quality assurance: Oversee quality testing for materials, trims, and samples, ensuring the final products meet our standards and the needs of our customers.
Collaboration: Work closely with designers, buyers, and suppliers to ensure that the development process is efficient and clear to all parties involved.
Market and sales awareness: Stay informed about sales performance, competitive trends, and the latest developments in the knitwear market to ensure our collections are always ahead of the curve.
Sustainability: Drive the development of products with sustainability at the forefront, ensuring eco-friendly processes and materials are prioritized.
Profiel
We are looking for someone with a true passion for knitwear and a drive for excellence.
5+ years of experience in product development, with a strong focus on light woven.
A university degree in textiles or a related field
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
A proactive, flexible, and problem-solving mindset – you thrive in dynamic environments and can pivot when needed while maintaining focus on key objectives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PLM Database Systems
