At Gant Footwear, we combine the heritage of an iconic brand with the agility of a start-up. As we continue to scale our newly established subsidiary to Gant AB, we’re looking for a Logistics Intern to support in setting up our logistics operations with structure, precision and momentum.  

As a Logistics Intern, you will support in testing and setting processes within our ERP logistics flows and supply chain platform. You will be part of establishing collaborations with external logistics service providers, including partners managing warehouse and transportation. Projects will also include internal cross-functional collaboration, through working closely with teams such as Product, Commercial and IT to ensure logistics readiness for our first product launch. The role will provide an unique opportunity to build early career experiences of end-to-end logistics and to make a valuable contribution in setting up the logistics network. 

Responsibilities

• Testing of logistics related flows and processes in ERP and Supply Chain Portal implementations 

• Support in transportation procurement activities 

• Support in process development activities with 3PL warehouse and forwarders 

• Support in internal cross-functional process development activities  

• Logistics service provider evaluation and performance management 

• Transportation planning and booking of shipments 

• Shipment tracking and following up with forwarders and customers 

• Prepare presentation materials and meeting agendas 

• Studies within supply chain with a preferable logistics focus 

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills 

• Strong analytical skills with solid experience from MS Excel 

• High interest in learning and personal development 

• Attention to detail   

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
