GANT is now looking for an Accountant (with an Accounts Payable focus) to join our Nordic Accounting & Reporting team. The Finance organization is part of GANT North, which includes Sweden, Denmark, the UK, and Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for the accounting operations for Sweden and Denmark, while collaborating closely with the Finance teams in the UK and Ireland.
This position reports to the Head of Accounting & Reporting Nordics and is based at our Headquarters in Stockholm.
About the role
As an Accountant at GANT, you will be responsible for accurate and timely financial transactional processing across AP, expense and travel reports, manual journals, and payments. You will be involved in financial process improvements and will gain broad exposure to various parts of our Finance function, with a focus on transactional excellence and system-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Process financial transactions (vendor invoices, expense reports, manual journals, inbound/outbound payments) in SAP.
Support the development and alignment of Accounts Payable and expense management processes in collaboration with the Global Financial Control team.
Ensure internal control routines are implemented and followed.
Manage multi-currency bank transactions and plan outgoing payments.
Handle inquiries regarding invoices and payments from external partners, vendors, and suppliers as well as internal parties.
Understand and work with financial systems and integrations.
Maintain an end-to-end process mindset and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across global operations.
Perform reconciliations and accruals.
Managing the asset register.
Deliver month-end closing activities in line with the defined closing schedule.

Profil
Profile
Experience in accounting, VAT handling, or financial transactional processing (AP).
Strong Excel skills.
University degree or equivalent in Finance.
2-5+ years of hands-on experience in a Finance department, preferably with AP/AR transactional work.
Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
You are a proactive team player who enjoys working with numbers, structure, and problem-solving. You take ownership of your tasks, feel comfortable making decisions, and know how to prioritize your daily work. You thrive in a collaborative environment and appreciate the opportunity to streamline and improve processes.
