Are you excited about creating compelling graphics and prints that combine heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary design? We are looking for a talented Interim Menswear Print Designer to join the Gant Design team in Stockholm on a fixed-term contract of approximately one year. In this role, you will help shape the graphic and print expression across our menswear collections, bringing seasonal stories to life through commercially relevant and brand-right artwork.
As an Interim Menswear Print Designer, you will be responsible for creating both placed graphics and all-over prints across multiple product categories, including jersey, woven shirts, knitwear, and accessories. Working closely with the Head of Design and the wider Design team, you will translate creative direction into distinctive, high-quality artwork that reflects the Gant DNA.
Graphic-led products are a key driver of our business and one of our most important storytelling tools. Through your creativity and technical expertise, you will contribute to strengthening brand authenticity, increasing product desirability, and delivering unique designs that resonate with our consumers.
This position is based in Stockholm and is offered as a fixed-term contract of approximately one year.
Key Responsibilities
Create original placed graphics and all-over prints aligned with the seasonal creative direction, commercial goals, and the Gant brand identity.
Develop visual concepts and artwork that translate seasonal themes into engaging product stories.
Prepare production-ready artwork, including technical specifications, color references, and print techniques.
Research graphic trends, market developments, and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities.
Build and maintain print libraries, sourcing documentation, and artwork assets throughout the development process.
Collaborate closely with designers, product developers, and suppliers to ensure successful execution across categories.
Ensure consistency, quality, and innovation throughout the full design process.
Profil
Proven experience in print, graphic, or fashion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both placed graphics and all-over prints.
Strong understanding of heritage-inspired menswear aesthetics, including collegiate, vintage, sportswear, and lifestyle influences.
Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to create production-ready artwork.
Knowledge of print techniques, surface embellishments, pattern repeats, and fabric applications.
Strong storytelling ability, with experience translating seasonal concepts into commercially relevant designs.
Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally in a product development environment.
Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating distinctive designs that strengthen brand identity and customer engagement.
