We are looking for a proactive and experienced Retail IT Application Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a vital link between business operations and technology, ensuring that our retail systems are efficient, reliable, and continuously improving. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business, manage vendor relationships, oversee key integrations, and drive projects from concept to implementation — all while keeping the customer and store experience at the center.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business units to understand operational needs and translate them into functional application requirements that align with broader business objectives.
Vendor & Supplier Management: Manage external vendors and service providers to ensure SLA compliance, optimal performance, and cost-effective service delivery.
Project Management: Lead application-related projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and scope are met while maintaining stakeholder alignment and risk mitigation.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements that improve system efficiency, user experience, and business impact. Keep documentation of system configurations and workflows updated.
Incident Management: Handle critical system incidents, analyze patterns to identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions to reduce recurrence.
Retail System Integration: Oversee integrations supporting retail operations, ensuring system performance and collaborating with technical teams to proactively resolve issues.
Hands-on Retail IT Support: Provide functional support for retail systems including POS, inventory management, and payment solutions.
Perfil
At least 5 years of IT experience, preferably in Retail IT within the fashion industry.
Proven track record in solution implementation and development projects, supported by a relevant academic background in IT.
Hands-on experience with POS systems and a solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory and payment systems.
Strong skills in SQL Server, including writing and troubleshooting queries.
Familiar with data exchange methods such as SFTP, APIs, and flat files.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking abilities across platforms (Windows and iOS).
