- Internship requirements: This is an unpaid internship and it is a prerequisite that it is incorporated into an educational program.
As part of the Sustainability Team, you will report to the Sustainability Business Partner and support Gant’s climate adaptation strategy by mapping climate risks, analysing consumer and fashion trend shifts, and developing climate change resilience scenarios. Your work will help shape strategic recommendations and cross-functional insights that strengthen the brand’s long-term climate resilience.
Responsibilities- Support the Sustainability Business Partner in developing a climate resilience report, focusing on climate risk, consumer trends, and business resilience.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Design teams, as well as sourcing, to explore climate-adaptive fashion strategies.
- Conduct research on climate-related risks, adaptation strategies, and evolving regulations impacting the fashion industry.
- Benchmark how peer brands are responding to climate change across supply chains, retail, and product offerings.
- Assist in creating internal training materials to raise awareness of climate adaptation and resilience within the organization.
Perfil
- Bachelor or Master student with a focus relevant to the internship
- Knowledge of or interest in the apparel industry, climate- scenario analysis and adaptation, or supply chain management
- Good communication and training skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word or equivalent
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
