Do you want to take on a pivotal role within a global fashion brand with high ambitions?
As Financial Controller at Gant, you become the backbone of our global finance organization — the one who brings together the Group’s financial reporting and ensures our numbers tell the right story. In this role, you will own a broad and business-critical scope, from consolidation and liquidity reporting to tax matters, transfer pricing templates, and the development of our Group Accounting Manual.
You will also be the trusted expert and go-to partner for our local finance teams worldwide, as well as the primary point of contact for group auditors, tax advisors, and the controlling, tax, and treasury professionals at Maus Frères, the owners of Gant. Please not this position is based in Stockholm.
Responsibilities
- Consolidation and reporting, including the group closing process
- The go-to person for local accounting teams for all other areas of group financial control, including all insurance matters. Contact person for the Maus Freres Risk department, managing the insurance covers for the GANT group.
- Transfer pricing policy. Collect and report CbCr, BEPS Pillar 2
- Advanced user of the group consolidation and reporting tool, Tagetik
- Contact person for the group functions at Maus Freres, such as Financial Control-, Tax- and Treasury departments .
- Bank Administrator. Maintaining all users and accesses in the online bank
- Monitor currency hedging by local entities. Liaison with Maus Freres Treasury department
- Maintaining and developing the group accounting manual, and other group manuals and instructions Maintain group chart of accounts
Perfil
- 3-4 years’ experience from a similar role and / or experience from a reputable audit firm
- Strong accounting skills and familiar with group consolidation and reporting software
- Being able to build trust and relationships within the organization, both with local accounting teams and with group functions at Maus Freres
- Extremely organized, detail oriented, responsible and ability to work independently
- Strong computer skills and highly proficient with Excel
- Self-starter with a positive attitude to assignments
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English both written and spoken

- Proficiency in German, French and Spanish both written and spoken
